About the Event
Whether you practice traditional arts or just have a creative idea, this free Creative Placemaking Workshop is for you! Create vibrancy downtown, add life to vacant buildings, or tell stories to listening ears. Use your talents and out-of-the-box thinking to make an impact on downtown Bowman. Artists, creatives, and makers of any level or discipline are invited to join us for a free training on placemaking and the Artists on Main Street Program!

Artists must attend the Creative Placemaking Workshop in order to submit a project for the artists on Main Street program and be eligible for funding.
Who Should Attend?
Whether you consider yourself an artist or not, we know you have creative ideas and we want to help you make them a reality. So who should attend? Anyone who wants to share in creativity to help bring about improvements downtown.
-Painters -Drawers -Welders -Woodworkers -Gardeners -Sculptors -Musicians -Storytellers -Everyone (we all have creativity in our bones)
-Project support of up to $1,000 per project -Free training on creative placemaking -Free meal -Connect with other local artists -Enact positive change in your downtown district
In order to apply for funding from the Artists on Main program, you must attend the Creative Placemaking Workshop on August 30, 2021
Anyone 17 years or younger may apply, but must have an adult (18+) willing to assume responsibility
