PRESENTER: Alicia Jolliffe
Alicia Jolliffe grew up in central Minnesota and moved to North Dakota to pursue an education at the University of Mary in communications and play volleyball for the Marauders. After graduation, she went on to become a reporter, producer, and anchor at KXMB News where she won two Eric Sevareid Awards from the Mindwest Broadcast Journalist Association in her three years there. She transitioned to the North Dakota Tourism in 2017 as a Marketing Specialist and was later positioned as the first Social Strategist of the Department of Commerce. To meet the needs of the many different pillars within their organization, she has been challenged with not only maintaining multiple accounts across multiple platforms, but also ensuring the success of a wide variety of marketing objectives. However most of her efforts go to the organic and paid success of North Dakota’s farthest reaching social platform, the North Dakota Legendary Tourism accounts. Her greatest professional passion is storytelling whether it be through video, photography, or the written word. In her free time she enjoys spoiling her dog, beating her husband at Smash Bros. and pretty much anything that can get her outdoors.
This class is currently scheduled as an in-person class. All aspects of this class are subject to change.
