About the Event

This hands-on workshop teaches small business owners, entrepreneurs, and marketers how to craft effective marketing plans. Participants will explore the fundamentals of marketing planning, build a content calendar, and use storytelling techniques to engage customers more deeply. Through practical exercises, attendees will leave with the tools and strategies they need to organize their marketing efforts and create compelling content that resonates with their audience.

This workshop provides you time to work on your marketing plan in class as well as be able to ask questions and work with the presenter. Upcoming classes to push your marketing efforts even further include Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Canva.

Taught by Brooklyn Engelhart, Director of Tourism and Creative

Brooklyn Engelhart holds a B.S. in Graphic Design and Public Relations and serves as the Director of Tourism and Creative for Bowman County Development Corporation (BCDC), where she has worked for the past six years. In this role, she manages marketing strategies and oversees several social media platforms, driving engagement for the local community.

Brooklyn is also a freelance graphic designer, working on a range of projects including annual reports, logos, menus, and other visual needs for her clients. Her expertise in both marketing and design helps businesses develop cohesive brand identities and create impactful content. With a strong passion for helping small businesses grow, she brings creativity, strategy, and hands-on experience to all of her work.
